Sitting on my porch on a spring morning in 2019, over-looking the mighty Minnesota river, I was ready to enjoy a fresh espresso.\u00a0 After 2-3 sips I realized how disappointing it was.\u00a0 This was another of many coffee beans that I bought that was considered \u201cArtisan Roasted Coffee\u201d.\u00a0 Not only was it disappointing, it was also very expensive.\u00a0 This latest bean was given high marks by a reputable \"\"\u200bcoffee house, and I was not impressed.\u00a0 I pulled out my laptop and started searching for coffee at its freshest to see if I could find that perfect coffee or espresso.\u00a0 \u00a0I did not want beans that were months or weeks old, I wanted beans that were roasted the day they were shipped to me.\u00a0 Anyone who loves a great espresso or coffee; you know how important a fresh bean is in that process.\u00a0 After searching for 10-15 minutes a day over the next few weeks, I came up empty handed.\u00a0 So, like anything good in this world, \u201cif you want it done right\u201d, you need to do it yourself.<\/p>\n

So that is what I did, I set out to roast my own coffee beans in the search for the very best.\u00a0 I bought my first roaster, (a very small one).\u00a0 It was capable of roasting about a one-cup of green beans.\u00a0 I also purchased some green beans off Amazon and looked forward to my own roast.<\/p>\n

I received both orders a few weeks later and started my journey.\u00a0 That very first roast was a disaster.\u00a0 I made the mistake of using the kitchen range as my heat source, and the house quickly turned into a haze of smoke.\u00a0 I wisely moved my operation outside and used the side burner of my grill as the heat source, and so it began.\u00a0 Coffee roasting history!!\u00a0 Despite producing drinkable coffee, I felt so lost each time I roasted. \u00a0I had no I idea what I was doing, so I bought every book I could get my hands on and studied.\u00a0 I put my heart and soul into it, I had never studied this hard in my entire life.\u00a0 I did not want to just be good at it, I wanted to be the best.\u00a0 If I was going to share my coffee with the world, I would not do so until it was perfect.\u00a0 I learned along the way, that buying green beans off Amazon was not the best solution either.\u00a0 I now\"\" have coffee beans from all over the world, and each one is packed with flavor and aroma.\u00a0 Many of you reading this have had the pleasure of trying them.\u00a0 If they didn\u2019t pass my test, they didn\u2019t make it in the cup.\u00a0 Now 2021, and a little over two years later, I am still learning each time I roast.\u00a0 I always feel like my latest batch is my best one to date.\u00a0 \u00a0I seem to learn a little each time, and I make slight changes to make the roast that much better.\u00a0 I do not have a $40,000.00 roaster that does the work for me, I use my eyes and ears to know when the roast is at peak, this truly is hand-batched each time.\u00a0 No two roasts ever come out exactly the same, which adds some adventure to the experience of true, artisanal coffee.<\/p>\n

So, there you have it.\u00a0 Sitting on the hillside of the Minnesota river.\u00a0 Your coffee is being roasted on \u201cRiverview Lane\u201d in Belle Plaine Minnesota.\u00a0 To this day I strive for that perfect cup of coffee that I started looking for back in 2019.\u00a0 That passion still exists to this day, and each bean you brew, turn into espresso, or make a hundred other ways.\u00a0 Know that I have poured my heart and soul into making that bean the freshest that you can buy in the world, with a lot of love and hard work sprinkled in.<\/p>\n

Why am I telling you all this?\u00a0 I want you to know that each time you order, you will receive the freshest coffee in the world.\u00a0 Your order will ship the same day, or the next day from roast. \u00a0\u00a0I roast orders as I get them, not the other way around.\u00a0 My fresh coffee will not be compromised by a backlog of orders, so please be patient as I fill them.<\/p>\n

Never tried my coffee?\u00a0 You already know it is the freshest, but what you might not know is the kick of caffeine you are about to get.\u00a0 Caffeine dissipates over time, and what you are probably used to is stale old coffee bean that does not have the same punch.\u00a0 Your body will need some adjusting when you try my coffee for the first time, so take it slow and enjoy!<\/p>\n
